The Miami Heat are currently up 2-1 against the Boston Celtics, just two wins away from making the NBA Finals yet again.

To secure those two victories, the team will need all of its players to stay strong and push themselves to their limits.

However, they will be lacking at least one important player for the next pivotal game.

#MIAvsBOS INJURY UPDATE: Tyler Herro (groin) has been ruled out of tonight’s Game 4 vs the Celtics.

Jimmy Butler (knee), Kyle Lowry (hamstring), Max Strus (hamstring), Gabe Vincent (hamstring) & P.J. Tucker (knee) will all warm up with the intent to play.

Tyler Herro has been ruled out of Monday night’s Game 4 against the Celtics due to a groin injury that he suffered the other night.

The good news here is that Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, Max Strus, Gabe Vincent, and P.J. Tucker are all warming up with the intention to play.

But how badly will they miss Herro?

Sixth Man Missing

Herro earned this season’s Sixth Man of the Year Award, showing just how valuable he is to his squad.

Sure enough, he has been averaging 20.7 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists this season.

However, he hasn’t been as consistent in the playoffs this year.

He has averaged 13.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists.

Herro has been up and down and this injury is just the latest blow to him.

Can the Heat get by without him?

Yes, they can but they definitely want someone with his shooting power in the weeks ahead.

Herro sometimes has a very high field goal percentage and is known to sink some incredible shots as well as play well off of Butler and the rest of his squad.

Whether coming off the bench or starting at tip-off, Herro has proven himself a lot this year.

With the team battling hard to make the NBA Finals again, they need his assistance.

Hopefully, they will get it back sooner rather than later.
