Fans of the Miami Heat were very happy with what they saw on Tuesday night.
The team faced off against MVP candidate Jayson Tatum and his Boston Celtics but they were ready to play and definitely eager to remind people that they shouldn’t be counted out.
Miami was lacking Jimmy Butler but that wasn’t a problem as they overtook the Celtics, 98-95.

The breakout star for the night was definitely Bam Adebayo, who scored 30 points and 15 rebounds in the major win.
It wasn’t the first time the big man put up numbers like that.
As noted by Brady Hawk, Adebayo has scored 30+ points eight times so far this season.
That’s all the more impressive when you consider that he did that only seven times in his regular-season career before 2022-23.
Adebayo knew that this season was going to be an important one for him and his team.
The Heat really didn’t make any moves during the summer, instead sticking with the team that earned them the top spot in the East last year.
That means that every existing player needed to contribute even more if they wanted to find success.
So far, things have been rocky for the Heat.
They are the sixth seed in the East right now, which is actually better than they were just weeks ago.
They are finding their footing and achieving more wins.
Adebayo is a substantial part of that: he’s putting up career highs of 21.6 points and 10.2 rebounds a game.
The win over the Celtics was an impressive and important feat for the Heat but they will need to keep securing more victories like that in the weeks ahead.
They have certainly put themselves back in playoff contention but there are many more months to go before the postseason begins.
