Fans saw their team missing the playoffs by one game for the second season in a row.
Despite having a winning record, fans were pointing fingers at their quarterback for losing winnable games.
While fans were looking back at critical games they lost, the Dolphins and Tagovailoa were focusing on the future.
Now, the young quarterback is having a phenomenal season as he’s setting records in Miami.
However, does this mean the young quarterback has finally arrived as the team’s franchise QB?
Yes, Tua Has Finally Arrived
The Dolphins offense is clearly unstoppable when Tagovailoa is playing for the team.
In games where he’s the starting quarterback in 2022, he’s 7-1.
He’s averaging 283.1 passing yards per game while having a 71% completion rate.
However, what’s helping the most is his scoring ability, as he’s averaging 2.3 touchdowns per game.
The only game he hasn’t scored a touchdown in is the one against the Cincinnati Bengals, which saw him leaving the game with a concussion.
While many were critics of him coming into this season, he’s proving those critics wrong.
Those apologies to Tua better be as LOUD as the criticism was.

As former quarterback Robert Griffin III says, those who criticized the young quarterback need to apologize just as loudly.
With him passing for three touchdowns in each of his last three games, he’s showing he’s the franchise quarterback in Miami.
While critics, and some fans, might have doubted the young star, he’s shining brighter than the Florida sunshine in Miami this season.
