One of the things that make the Memphis Grizzlies so exciting and dangerous is that they have multiple stars able to step up and help the team succeed.
Of course, most people highlight Ja Morant, who is the centerpiece of the team and the face of the franchise.
But he is far from the only great performer on the squad.
One of the athletes, Jaren Jackson Jr, is literally having his best season in many ways.

6.4 RPG (Career High)
1.1 SPG (Career High)
3.2 BPG (Career High)

Jackson is averaging 16.7 points per game and that is just the start of his greatness.
He is also putting up 6.4 rebounds a game, which is a career high.
Jackson is scoring 1.1 steals and 3.2 blocks per contest, which are also career highs.
And he is shooting 51.3% from the field and has a true shooting percentage of 61.7%.
Yes, those are also seasons highs.
Perhaps nothing sums up Jackson’s power more than the fact that the Grizzlies are 8=0 this season when he plays more than 29 minutes.
What’s next for Jackson and his young, scrappy team?
The team is tied for the top seed in the West right now, with a 26-13 record.
They are currently trying to pull away from the Denver Nuggets, who are putting up quite a fight.
The top of the Western Conference standings has changed a bit throughout the season and while the Grizz have yet to claim that title yet, they have remained more consistent than other teams who have come and gone.
This isn’t that surprising because the Grizzlies, when healthy, are nearly impossible to slow down.
If they can stay strong and in good shape for the rest of the season, there is every reason to believe they will be back in the playoffs in a few months.
Jackson’s impressive efforts will be a huge part of their success.
