Fox NFL announcer Greg Olsen has caught the attention of many since he moved into Fox’s number one booth.
It was a move that got him a pay raise and was because of Troy Aikman’s departure from Fox.
However, with the retirement of Tom Brady, Olsen’s days as the top guy for Fox will be ending soon.
Andrew Marchand has reported that Olsen will be in for a $7 million dollar pay cut once Brady takes over at Fox.
Report: FOX's Greg Olsen’s salary will be reduced from $10 million to $3 million once Tom Brady begins his broadcasting career on the network. (@AndrewMarchand)

While the move of Olsen to the number two team was expected, no one knew his pay cut numbers until now.
However, the cut isn’t happening until Brady is officially part of the Fox announcing team.
With him signing a 10-year deal back in 2022, Brady’s job with Fox is just pending on his arrival.
While the legendary quarterback isn’t coming until 2024, the news gives Olsen very little time in the spotlight.
The former NFL tight-end had his first full season as a commentator with Fox in 2021.
While he got a huge promotion the following year, he knew that Brady’s contract with Fox meant his time in this position was short.
When Brady announced his retirement, it set into motion a transition for the two former NFL players.
However, the move to the number two team isn’t the end for Olsen’s announcing career.
With him being under contract until 2026, fans have time to hear his voice during NFL games.
While he has only one year before Brady takes over, he’s already got some announcing milestones under his belt.
