It’s still a bit wild to think that the Boston Celtics are in the NBA Finals.

There was a time early in the season when it looked like they wouldn’t even make the playoffs and now they are going head-to-head against the Golden State Warriors to win it all.

Yes, it’s been a wild ride for Boston – and not just during this year.

The last few years have been dramatic, to say the least.

It started when they drafted Marcus Smart back in 2014, followed by Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum just a few years after.

Then there was the coaching change, swapping out Brad Steven for Ime Udoka.

Of course, that was followed by a rather rough start to the season, which saw the Celtics with a record of 23-24 before turning things around at the start of the year.

Since then, they’ve lost only one back-to-back set of games and have defeated the past three teams that eliminated them to win the Eastern Conference.

And now they’re in their first Finals since 2010.

So, do they have what it takes to become champions yet again?

Can The Celtics Become Champions?

If Boston does win the Finals, they will have the most NBA championships in history.

That’s obviously a huge accomplishment and you can tell it’s one the team is aiming for.

However, it won’t be easy because they are going against the Warriors, possibly the greatest franchise in modern NBA history.

Already, we have seen that the Warriors are going to be playing hard which means both teams will have a lot to get through if they want to win the ring.

Yes, it’s amazing to see the Celtics get this far but you know they don’t want this wild ride to end just yet.
