He has been playing in the NBA for 20 years now but LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers remains one of the most talked-about, debated, and celebrated stars in the league.
He is also one of the most-viewed.
The NBA released a list of the top ten most-viewed players on social media this season and James sits atop the list.
With 1.3 billion video views this season, James is securely ahead of the competition.

Second place belongs to Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors with 881 million views, while Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks has 736 million, and Ja Morant is in fourth place with 653 million.
It is not surprising to hear that James is leading the league in such a big way.
He might be 38 years old, but he is still one of the most incredible players alive.
James averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists a game this season.
Not only did he claim incredible numbers this year, but he also claimed history as he surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the all-time top scorer in NBA history.
For much of the season, the Lakers were a complete mess yet they were still scheduled for numerous games on primetime television.
This shows that no matter how bad his team is, people still tune in for James.
The attention around James and his team has only grown in the last few weeks.
They have climbed up to the seventh seed in their conference and are now on the verge of making the playoffs after a dismal start to the year.
That means that James’ 1.3 billion video views will definitely grow in the days and possibly weeks ahead.
