After winning just 87 games during the regular season and sneaking into the postseason as the third NL Wild Card team, the Philadelphia Phillies went on a magical run to the World Series, eliminating the St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves, and San Diego Padres along the way.
But after falling short against the Houston Astros in the Fall Classic, the Phils are hungry for more.
And so, the team has been very active this offseason, signing star shortstop Trea Turner to bolster their offense and adding a few key pitchers as well.
The bullpen is where the Phillies have made most of their improvements, as they’ve added Craig Kimbrel, Matt Strahm, and Gregory Soto to go along with Seranthony Dominguez.
MLB Network posted a graphic on Twitter showing just how dominant the bullpen is for the team.

Opposing teams are going to have a tough time against the Phillies late in games.
Their starting pitching is already solid with Aaron Nola, Zack Wheeler, Ranger Suarez, and Taijuan Walker.
But the bullpen is their biggest strength.
The additions of Soto, Strahm, and Kimbrel have given them a fearsome big three at the back end of the pen.
Dominguez and Alvarado were already solid relievers, but with reinforcements on the way, the Phillies have become a serious threat to make a return trip to the World Series.
Along with the New York Mets, they have had a rather productive offseason and have made it clear that they are hungry for more after their surprise run to the NL pennant.
