The 2018 NFL Draft class will be remembered for the quarterbacks selected.
We saw five quarterbacks selected in the first round, but most of them have not turned out very well.
Among the quarterbacks selected in the top 10, we saw Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, and Josh Rosen.
One of those quarterbacks is not like the others.
This graphic by the NFL on CBS goes to show how much different Allen’s career has gone from that of his peers.

Each of the other three quarterbacks picked in the top 10 has played on multiple teams.
Rosen has fallen out of the league, while Mayfield and Darnold will be lucky to start in 2023.
You can imagine that the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets both regret not taking Allen with their picks.
But, that is what makes the NFL Draft so unique.
One pick could change the outlook of a franchise.
The only other quarterback picked in the first round that year was Lamar Jackson.
He was selected 32nd overall, and you could argue he is the best QB in the class.
Jackson has already won a league MVP, and he is set up for a massive payday this offseason.
Despite having not won an MVP, Allen has been one of the favorites for the past few seasons.
He has turned himself into a great player, and someone the Bills will continue to build around.
It would be a surprise if Allen does not join Jackson on the list of MVPs from this draft class.
