The San Francisco 49ers have some issues they need to fix with QB Jimmy Garoppolo.
While the team is in a tie for first-place in the NFC West, they need better play from Garoppolo.
His biggest weakness this season is the deep ball.
The issue is so bad, someone posted a graphic of how bad it is on Twitter.
So what does this graphic say, and can Garoppolo fix these problems?
Dov Kleiman Shows How Garoppolo Is At Bottom Of Deep Ball Passing Stats
Dov Kleiman, who covers the NFL, posted a graphic of how Garoppolo is near the bottom of all deep ball stats.

While he isn’t dead last, he’s dangerously close to the bottom.
However, the graphic also shows how he was 0-6, with two interceptions, against the Falcons in Week 6 on deep passes.
Those mistakes with passes of 15 yards or more have killed the 49ers this season.
But these problems aren’t new for Jimmy G, as it’s a long known issue of his.
With his footwork in the pocket, he’s not setting himself up to make a strong deep pass.
Because of this, he’s throwing incompletions and interceptions.
Brandon Thorn points out these issues from his tweet from two years ago.
Garoppolo gets happy feet and is inaccurate from a clean pocket in this first clip but watch what happened the play before (clip 2). Might've had something to do with it. He got ROCKED. pic.twitter.com/gOGu6yISdb

With Garoppolo making no progress with his footwork, it’s hard to believe his issues will be fixed.
Until he addresses those happy feet of his, he will continue to have issues throwing downfield.
While the 49ers are in a three-way tie in the NFC West, continual errors by Garoppolo can cost them their spot.
