The future of the entire NBA may be altered tonight.
That’s because the NBA Draft is this evening and it will bring a new class of rookies ready to enter the league, shake things up, and push their teams forward.
Each year brings at least a few rookies who will end up being superstars.
However, they don’t always come at the very beginning of the draft.

It’s important to remember that some of the biggest names to ever enter the NBA didn’t fly off the proverbial shelf.
For example, Kobe Bryant was the 13th pick in the first round, and Steve Nash was 15th pick, just like Giannis Antetokounmpo.
And then there was Nikola Jokic, who was the 41st pick in the second round.
People were so tuned out by the point Jokic was picked that the draft was actually airing a commercial for Taco Bell when his name was announced.
Each of these players didn’t make the top 10 of their respective draft classes and each went on to be legendary MVPs.
This just goes to show that you shouldn’t change the channel after the top 10 picks are revealed.
Draft Magic
We are becoming increasingly sure of the top three picks for tonight’s draft.
It looks like Jabari Smith will be the first pick with the Orlando Magic, Chet Holmgren will be second with the Oklahoma City Thunder, and Paolo Banchero will be the third pick with the Houston Rockets.
However, there are so many other young stars waiting to be chosen in the draft.
In other words, there are names we haven’t even heard of who could make a major difference in the league in the years ahead.
All NBA fans are ready to be surprised by the depth of this year’s rookie class.
