Goran Dragic of the Brooklyn Nets has been in the NBA for 14 years now and he is still playing quite well.
During his time with the Nets, he has put up 7.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 4.1 assists – not bad for a 36-year-old.
He has played for multiple teams throughout his time in the league but is he headed to another team soon?
His latest statement is sure to get the rumors swirling.
Luka and Goran were asked about the possibility of them playing together in Dallas next season.
Luka: “I would like to answer that, but I think it’s a 100.000 penalty if I did. You should ask the GM about that.”
Goran: "We can’t talk about it till july 1st." pic.twitter.com/8phIKfHvsy

Dragic and Luka Doncic were part of a press conference following a basketball game for their home country of Slovenia.
A reporter questioned them about the possibility of them playing together for the Dallas Mavericks next season.
Doncic laughed it off, saying, “I would like to answer that, but I think it’s a $100,000 penalty if I did. You should ask the GM about that.”
Dragic followed that up with: “We can’t talk about it till July 1st.”
Was this just the case of two buddies joking around or is there any reality to their statements?
Dragic In Dallas?
Dragic is an older player now and doesn’t play as he used to.
Still, he could add a lot of skill and expertise to the Mavericks’ bench – plus playing with his friend Doncic would be a huge benefit too.
He has always been an intense competitor and very intelligent: he understands the game and can be brilliant with some of his offensive moves.
Sure enough, rumors have said that Dragic was thinking of signing up with Dallas during his last free agency.
And reports say the Mavericks will consider signing him once he is a free agent again.
Therefore, there is a solid chance that Dragic really could suit up with Doncic in the months ahead.
If he does, he will teach his dear pal a thing or two and probably make his game even better.
All Mavericks fans will like the sound of that.
