Before the 2022 NFL began, no one gave the New York Giants a chance to go anywhere this season.
However, the team enters Week 8 with a 6-1 record.
With fans pumped over their team’s success, they are ignoring a troubling issue.
This issue is how their receivers continue to be non-factors during games.
So how bad are the Giants’ receivers this season, despite their 6-1 record?
No Giants Receiver Has Gotten 200 Yards For The Season
If the receivers want to be a factor, they need to gain more receiving yards.
Currently, the team has seven wide receivers who have recorded catches this season.
However, not one of those players has gotten 200 yards this season.
The New York Giants are 6-1 and don't have a player with 200 yards receiving on the season.

While combing through their players, fans can find the Giants’ top receiver having 191 receiving yards this season.
Those 191 yards by Richie James ties him for 91st among all NFL players with receiving yards.
So in retrospect, the Giants receiving corps is one of the worst in NFL from a receiving yards perspective.
Barkley’s 726 rushing yards place him in second place, while Jones comes in with 343 yards and three rushing TDs.
With the Giants clearly relying on the running game, it’s only a matter of time before defenses start loading the box.
When they do this, the party will be over for the Giants and their fans.
So if they want to continue winning, they need their receivers to get more involved in the passing game.
