After a strong start to his NFL career, an ACL injury limited him to two games in 2020.
He did have a nice showing last season but it’s still nowhere near his production in 2018 and 2019.
Before the 2022 season, he is getting a boost from arguably the best defensive player of all time.

Pro Football Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor said “legacy has no limits” to Barkley.
The four-word message should be enough to motivate the former Penn State standout in helping the Giants reverse their fortunes.
The team hasn’t had much to celebrate because of their postseason drought that stretches from 2016.
Therefore, Taylor is inspiring Barkley to write a better story in his career.
Aside from that message, Taylor and Barkley spent time shooting the video announcing the return of the Giants’ throwback jerseys.
It’s the uniform that Taylor and his teammates wore when they won two Super Bowls.
Likewise, it’s fitting that Taylor handed the jersey to Barkley as if to say that it’s his time to shine.
Giants Legacy Games In 2022
Aside from wearing the blue uniforms from the 1980s and early 1990s, the Giants will also use their end zone design during those years.
It will be a trip down memory lane as Giants fans hope that the team does well in the two games where they will don the uniforms.
The 2022 Giants will wear the throwbacks for the first time on October 2 against the Chicago Bears.
Then, they will have the same attire against the division-rival Washington Commanders on December 4.
