The New York Giants have been quite busy during the NFL offseason.
Not only did they come to a contract agreement with Daniel Jones, but they also franchise-tagged Saquon Barkley.
This is great news for Giants fans, as they will have stability in two crucial positions.
They have also recently added Darren Waller, who is said to slot in nicely beside Daniel Bellinger at the tight end position.
However, many Giants fans have been skeptical about the Giants’ depleted wide receiver corps.
While many fans were excited about the possibility to add DeAndre Hopkins or Odell Beckham Jr. in free agency, Jordan Raanan, a Giants insider, is of a different belief.
Adding a WR near the top of the draft remains a likelihood for Giants. Don’t listen to anyone telling you they’re trading for DeAndre Hopkins or signing OBJ at this point. Also, will be using a ton of 2 TEs w/Waller and Bellinger. https://t.co/GW95T50Y6D

As Raanan contends, the Giants are unlikely to sign or trade for any big-ticket wide receivers.
However, he is fairly confident that the Giants will draft a wide receiver, especially given their position at 25th and 57th overall.
In a deep wide receiving class, the Giants should have a breadth of options to choose from, piecing that player into their offensive scheme.
During his first year as coach of the Giants, Brian Daboll was able to find great success, making the playoffs, and winning a playoff game as well.
Jones is slated to take another step forward in 2023, and adding a key weapon via the draft is an excellent way to do that.
The NFC East has gotten increasingly difficult, especially with the rise of Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Who will the Giants add on their quest to build upon their 2022 season?
