The New York Giants are riding high heading into their Week 5 matchup against the Green Bay Packers at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England.
They have won three of their first four games, and Saquon Barkley has rediscovered his dominating form.
The former Penn State standout leads the league in rushing yards, which helps the Giants own the crown of the NFL’s best ground attack.
But while their run offense is humming along, their passing game is still finding its rhythm.
Their aerial approach might take a hit if quarterback Daniel Jones won’t suit up against Green Bay.
However, ESPN NFL Nation writer for the Giants Jordan Raanan shared a positive update.
Heard Daniel Jones looked pretty good yesterday at practice. Giants are going to see how he looks and feels today before traveling to London tonight. Not signing a QB a positive sign for Jones.
Davis Webb will make his first career start if Jones can’t. #giants

Raanan tweeted, “Heard Daniel Jones looked pretty good yesterday at practice. Giants are going to see how he looks and feels today before traveling to London tonight. Not signing a QB a positive sign for Jones. Davis Webb will make his first career start if Jones can’t. #giants.”
Without bringing another quarterback on board, the Giants are hoping that Jones is healthy enough to suit up for their overseas game.
The former Duke standout suffered a high ankle sprain during their Week 4 game against the Chicago Bears.
While he left the game for a while and gave Tyrod Taylor some playing time, the Giants still won, 20-12.
Jones has 631 passing yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions through four games.
Other Injured Giants Players On Offense
Aside from Jones, Taylor is also out due to a concussion.
Wide receivers Wan’Dale Robinson and Kenny Golladay are dealing with knee injuries.
Their fellow wideouts, Richie James and Kadarius Toney, have ankle and hamstring injuries.
Offensive tackle Evan Neal is also nursing a neck injury.
There’s no word yet if any of these players will skip their game across the pond.
