The New York Giants are potentially going to have an extremely ugly finish to the season.
The team just lost Sunday by a final score of 20-9 against the Miami Dolphins to fall to 4-8.
Mike Glennon had to start in place of an injured Daniel Jones and he proceeded to go 23/44 for 187 yards and no touchdowns.
But the news only gets worse as Glennon has been diagnosed with a concussion.
That leaves Jake Fromm as the only active quarterback on the roster at the moment.
The Giants do have an emergency quarterback in defensive back Logan Ryan, and he was asked about that role following the loss to Miami.
For some unknown reason, he used that as an opportunity to throw shade at the quarterback that just beat his team.
Logan Ryan said he’s available as an emergency QB, which he played in HS, if need-be. Said “I’m a lot like Tua, I can throw two yard passes to the left.”

That is certainly a weird way for a veteran to respond after losing in such ugly fashion.
Throwing Shade At Tua
Tua Tagovailoa finished 30/41 for 244 yards and two touchdowns.
Most importantly, his team won its fifth consecutive game.
Yet Ryan, whose defense allowed those two touchdowns, thought it made sense to throw shade after a loss.
Does that speak to a larger problem with Joe Judge’s locker room?
That may be an overreaction, but Ryan is still a leader on defense.
It is a terrible look to lose, and then say the opposing quarterback is no good.
If that is the case, why didn’t Ryan and the Giants defense shut him down?

Judge is on the hot seat and now his players are calling out opponents after a loss.
Tagovailoa has an easy retort here, as those two-yard passes of his has the Dolphins back in playoff contention.
The southpaw has become a punching bag around the NFL, but if he continues to win then he will ultimately get the last laugh every time.
