The San Francisco Giants have been unable to catch a break with all of their injuries.
Even though they remain in playoff position, they haven’t quite caught lightning in a bottle yet and have been a little inconsistent, thanks in large part to the rash of injuries they have experienced this season.
It hasn’t been quite as smooth sailing as the 2021 season was.
One Giants insider tweeted a list of players who have been recently placed on the injured list for the team, and it’s quite troubling to look at if you’re a Giants fan.
They’ve had to place a player on the injured list each day since Friday.

A Full Injured List
The Giants are just having some bad injury luck.
Sure, it happens to every team, but it’s happening at a rapid rate for the Giants right now.
Those are four key pieces that are now on the injured list and unable to compete for the time being.
The Giants have lost four in a row and are struggling to stay healthy.
Luckily, the roster is still pretty deep and more than capable of pulling it together, but it doesn’t help when you’re sending a player to the injured list every day.
It’s been happening for four straight days, and it’s easy to imagine that the Giants and their fans are hating every minute of it.
The team needs to get healthy if they want to catch the Los Angeles Dodgers in the division.
They’re six games back of first place right now, but if more players continue to get hurt, that deficit could grow pretty quickly.
We’ll see if they can stop the bleeding and get everybody healthy soon.
