Odell Beckham Jr. has been making the rounds to a few NFL teams in order to make a decision on where he would like to take his talents.
One of these teams is the team that formerly drafted him in the first round of the NFL Draft, the New York Giants.
I believe Giants checked out Odell Beckham Jr. because a) he's still well liked in building, b) they saw what he did with the Rams in playoffs and c) Schoen is a forward-thinker who is trying to get ahead of the 2023 plans.
To NYG, this is a process with OBJ, not the end game.

The Giants traded Beckham to the Cleveland Browns in 2019, where he appeared in 28 games for them over three seasons.
He was then signed by the Los Angeles Rams in 2021, playing in seven regular season games and four postseason games, including the Super Bowl, when he tore his ACL.
What Can Beckham Bring To An NFL Roster?
If signed by the Giants, Beckham brings eight years of NFL experience, along with five postseason games.
The Giants would be a natural fit for him, as highlighted above.
Their current wide-receiving weapons are Darius Slayton, Kenny Golladay, and Richie James.
It’s safe to say Beckham would be a big upgrade over these three.
Between Slayton, Golladay, and James, they have a combined 382 career receptions.
For context, Beckham has 531 catches in his NFL career.
By having a player like Beckham join the Giants, they would be making a statement to the league that they are all in this season.
The real question is, will they?
Will the Giants make a move like this to sign Beckham, or will they play the long game, and wait until the 2023 campaign?
Either way, this is one of the Giants’ best overall rosters they have had in years.
