Anyone who expected Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks to slow down is surely disappointed right now.
That’s because Antetokounmpo has continued his MVP-worthy season in 2022-23 and has been consistently fantastic, game after game.

Over the last 8 games, Antetokounmpo has never dipped below 30 points and has put up numbers like 40 points, 13 rebounds, and 7 assists and 38 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists.
At times, he’s been sinking 66% of his field goal attempts and has been wildly dominant in practically every aspect of the game.
And his Bucks have been hanging in there and remain in second place in the East, meaning that this team really could go all the way – and Antetokounmpo really might win another MVP trophy.
The Greek Freak On Fire
With an average of 32.1 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 5.6 assists a game, Antetokounmpo is having one of his best seasons ever.
That’s right, even with those numbers it’s still debatable if this is the best he’s ever been – that shows just how fantastic he has been for years.
But the Bucks are clearly doing better than they have in a few years and this is giving a lot of hope that the Finals await them.
Now that Khris Middleton is back, the Bucks have a chance to get even better.
At the same time, Middleton’s return might lower a bit of Antetokounmpo’s output and he may be scoring less as Middleton gets back up to speed.
That won’t be a problem for the Greek Freak because he has always said that his goal this year isn’t to win MVP but the Finals and he knows he needs all of his team working hard to do that.
