For years now, NBA fans, analysts, and even players have poked fun at Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns.
Since his departure from the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors years ago, allegations of being a ring chaser who relies on superteams have followed Durant around as he played for the Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, and now the Suns.
"You keep joining superteams to win an NBA title. How about we workout together sometime so I can teach you how to carry your own team."

And now one of the biggest people in the league is teasing Durant too.
Sitting down on “The Daily Show”, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks told a pretty biting joke about Durant.
“You keep joining superteams to win an NBA title. How about we work out together sometime so I can teach you how to carry your own team,” Antetokounmpo said during the interview.
Obviously, Antetokounmpo is joking around and isn’t completely serious with the comment but it surely stings just a bit because it plays upon a rough reputation about Durant.
The Warriors were considered a superteam, as were the Nets with Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Blake Griffin, and others.
While the Warriors found great success – and two rings – with Durant on board, the Nets were clearly an experiment that never paid off.
His new superteam in Phoenix might be the best one yet.
Alongside Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, and others, the Suns are in a good position to surge into the last part of the season and achieve something special in the playoffs.
If they don’t, you can expect more people to make fun of Durant and his superteams.
Will Antetokounmpo’s playful jab get under Durant’s skin?
We will find out the next time the Bucks take on the Suns.
