It hasn’t been that long since Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA Finals.
However, in just a year a lot has changed and the Bucks weren’t able to achieve their desired repeat of that success.
That leaves Antetokounmpo desperate to get his team back to the biggest show in the league and get him a second ring.

Antetokounmpo posted a message of inspiration to his Twitter followers on Sunday, showing a series of pictures of him hitting the gym and practicing his shot.
Along with the images was this phrase: “You get what you work for not what you wish for.”
Antetokounmpo has definitely been working hard over the last few years but will that hard work be enough for his team in the season ahead?
Former And Future MVP
No one can turn up their nose at Antetokounmpo’s 2021-22 season.
The Greek Freak put up 29.9 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 5.8 assists throughout the year.
Sadly, his team wasn’t able to make it out of the playoffs and into the Finals because the East was just too tough and the Boston Celtics took them out in the second round.
The team still played well during the year and Antetokounmpo was having one of the best seasons of his career.
That means that he doesn’t have to make too many adjustments in the months ahead.
But he will definitely be pushing himself – and the rest of his squad – before tip-off in October.
The team isn’t making many changes in the offseason because they know they have a good thing already.
The pieces are there – especially since Antetokounmpo is still in fine form – they just need to all work in tandem and achieve their goals.
Antetokounmpo is obviously ready to work.
