The night that Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo had Tuesday proves why he’s truly one of the most special players in the NBA.
Antetokounmpo put up 50 points in a victory against the Indiana Pacers but the stats behind that score are really incredible.

Antetokounmpo achieved only the 12th game in league history with 50 points on 80 percent shooting.
This was the first time that Antetokounmpo scored 50 since Game 6 of last year’s Finals – as well as the first time in the regular season since November 2019 – and it shows that the former MVP is in the zone as the All-Star break approaches.
Giannis Gets Going
Currently, the Bucks are third in the Eastern Conference with a record of 36-23.
There was a time when some people assumed the idea of the Bucks returning to the Finals was an impossibly long shot.
However, the team has really come together lately and is working much, much better than they were.
A large part of that is due to Antetokounmpo, who is really playing at MVP levels yet again.
Antetokounmpo has improved his game across the board but his victory on Tuesday night was mostly achieved inside the paint, where he scored 26 of his 50.
His free throw game has also been taken up a notch too – he sank 14 of his 18 attempts against the Pacers.
This all comes on the heels of Antetokounmpo sitting out Monday night’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers because of a left ankle injury.
Antetokounmpo is tuned in and ready to keep pushing his team forward.
It is a tough road to the Finals this year but if Antetokounmpo keeps playing the way he has been and the rest of the team keeps it up too, there is no reason to believe the Bucks can’t go all the way again.
