Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks swore that he was going to be playing like a monster this season.
So far, he is making good on that promise.
Antetokounmpo and his Bucks remain undefeated as they attempt to return to the NBA Finals after a season away thanks to the Boston Celtics.
Additionally, the Greek Freak is already in contention for the MVP trophy after his sublime start to the season.

During the first five games of the year, Antetokounmpo scored 44 points, followed by 43, 30, 34, and 31.
But that’s not all: he has grabbed double-digit rebounds for all but one of those games.
The man is playing with passion, power, and purpose.
This year’s MVP race is already hectic and crowded and unpredictable but Antetokounmpo is repeatedly stating his case – and warning the rest of the league to be ready for him.
MVP Season
Antetokounmpo has already won the MVP trophy twice before but he’s not anywhere close to being done.
He has admitted that he was unhappy with how last season ended for his team.
The player knows that his crew has what it takes to make multiple runs at the Finals and he won’t settle for anything less.
Milwaukee is currently the best team in the league – and the only undefeated squad – and so it only makes sense that Antetokounmpo is the best player around.
Other players, such as Luka Doncic and Ja Morant, are aiming to win their first MVP trophies.
But if Antetokounmpo keeps playing like this, it’ll be hard to top him.
Antetokounmpo repeatedly said what he was planning to do in the new season and now he’s making good on that.
Can he keep this up all season long?
