Just years ago, people thought the Milwaukee Bucks had wasted a first-round pick on unknown prospect Giannis Antetokounmpo.
And while his physical traits and athleticism were obvious, he looked like a raw prospect that may never be good enough to get consistent playing time.
Now, Giannis is on pace to become a first-ballot Hall of Famer, a multi-time MVP, and one of the most dominant and unstoppable forces in the game of basketball.
As a matter of fact, the Greek Freak is currently going through one of his most impressive scoring runs just yet, averaging 41 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists over his past three outings.

Giannis torched the undermanned New Orleans Pelicans for 50 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, and three three-pointers on 20/26 from the floor, 3/4 from beyond the arc, and 7/12 from the free-throw line, all that in just 30 minutes.
He’s now taken his season averages to a whopping 31.7 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game on 53.4% shooting, once again becoming one of the most explosive players in the world.
The craziest part about these numbers is the fact that we’ve normalized it for Giannis, so it kind of feels like we’re taking him for granted at this point.
But make no mistake, there’s absolutely normal about what Giannis is doing, and he should once again rank near the league’s leaders in MVP voting.
The Milwaukee Bucks will continue to be contenders for as long as the Greek Freak is out there, even if Gilbert Arenas still thinks he doesn’t understand the game of basketball.
