There were many people who figured that Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Milwaukee Bucks would have been champions at the end of last season.

Obviously, the team took home the league’s biggest prize at the end of the 2020-2021 season.

And the team seemingly only got better in the following months so people thought a repeat could be coming.

It wasn’t and the Bucks weren’t able to overcome the Boston Celtics in the playoffs.

But that painful loss isn’t slowing Antetokounmpo down.

The two-time MVP is enjoying his summer vacation, posting on Twitter a lovely image of him and a simple caption: “Find joy in the journey.”

That’s a great life lesson but it makes one wonder: where does Antetokounmpo’s journey take him next?

The Greek Freak is likely spending time with his friends and family during his summer break.

But there is no doubt that he’s also hard at work getting better at the game and preparing him and his team for a huge comeback.

Make no mistake: when the new season starts, the Bucks will still be in position to make it far into the playoffs.

Once again, no one will be surprised if they make the Finals.

But if Antetokounmpo is even better than last season, the odds of that happening are even higher.

Yet, how could he get even better?

He put up 29.9 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 5.8 assists on average during the 2021-22 season, those are all almost league-highs.

But Antetokounmpo has shown his ability to get even more efficient and stronger in the past and he could do it again.

So, the next part of Antetokounmpo’s journey could be even more greatness.
