The New York Yankees came out of game four of the ALDS with a 4-2 victory over the Cleveland Guardians.
However, the game saw some celebrating by Josh Naylor of the Guardians.
His celebration came with the Guardians down by one run to the Yankees in the fourth inning.
So why was he celebrating, and what were Gerrit Cole‘s comments on his celebration?
Cole Wasn’t Impressed With Naylor’s Home Run Celebration
With the Guardians down by two to start the bottom of the fourth, Naylor hit a huge home run.
Naylor then did a “rocking the baby” motion as he went around the bases.
However, Cole, when asked about the home run celebration after the game, wasn’t impressed at all.

With the Guardians’ back in the game, Naylor had plenty of reason to celebrate.
While the celebration is odd to some people, it’s nothing new to Cleveland natives.
It’s a celebration that Naylor does when he hits home runs.
Triston McKenzie talked about Josh Naylor's rocking the baby celebration earlier this month: "Nayls, when he hits homers off people, he calls them his son. Hence the rocking the baby as he runs around the bases."

With his celebration, he’s saying “I’m your daddy.”

However, the game ended with Cole getting the last laugh.
Yankees Push ALDS Into Game Five After 4-2 Win
While Naylor had his fun with the solo home run, the Yankees left Cleveland as the victors.
With their Sunday win, the Yankees can reach the ALCS against the Houston Astros if they win at home.
However, the Guardians won’t go down without a fight.
The team has proven they can’t be taken lightly.
If Aaron Boone and the Yankees make this mistake, then it will be Naylor who will get the last laugh.
