The Los Angeles Dodgers got their man when they signed Freddie Freeman to a six-year $162 million contract last week.

Now, the Dodgers are a serious World Series title contender.

Freeman has also had a chance to wear Dodger Blue for the first time in his career.

Early on Monday, Freeman was outside of the Dodgers’ spring training complex at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona signing autographs for Dodger fans.

Fans were singing his praises and proud to have him on their team.

Freeman took note of this and even said that it was nice to hear Dodgers fans cheer for him.

New Face In A New Place

While it’s weird to see Freeman in anything but an Atlanta Braves uniform, it is nice to see him enjoy all the support he’s getting from Dodgers fans.

You can tell he is excited to get going with his new team and chase down another World Series trophy.

And why wouldn’t he be?

The Dodgers are primed for a deep October run and look as dangerous as ever entering the 2022 season.

Freeman obviously hasn’t always been loved by Dodgers fans, but that has changed and now he’s excited to get started with a new team and a new beginning.

Freeman is a native of Southern California, so he basically is experiencing a homecoming of sorts.

He will be making his Dodgers debut tomorrow as they host the Cincinnati Reds in a spring training matchup, and you can bet Dodgers fans will be excited to see their new star in action and get a glimpse of what this team is capable of.

The Dodgers will surely be a fun team to watch in 2022, and Freeman will only add to the excitement.
