Major League Baseball players always seem to like talking about how they’re living the dream when they play the game.
It’s something that they dreamed about doing when they were children.
It’s something they enjoyed doing as a child when they were growing up and playing out in their backyards.
Now, they get to do it for a living.
Franmil Reyes of the Chicago Cubs is certainly enjoying his opportunity to play professional baseball for a living.
When he sat down with Karl Ravech of ESPN, he expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to play baseball as a career, saying that everything about it is “perfect.”

Reyes Relishing His MLB Career
Playing baseball for a living is something so many people can only dream of.
Only a select few get to make it all the way to the big leagues, and Reyes certainly seems to feel fortunate that he’s one of those people who made it this far.
Baseball is a game of competition, but it’s also one of friendship and joy.
Reyes is making sure to take all of that in.
He truly is living the dream.
Even with the Cubs struggling, Reyes is making sure to appreciate the opportunity he’s been given to play professional baseball.
It’s something that not everybody has a chance to do.
But when people enter their professional careers, regardless of what they do, they hope to enjoy it as much as Reyes seems to enjoy playing baseball.
As the old saying goes, do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.
That’s how Reyes is feeling about things.
He’s doing what he loves, so that work feels effortless.
