Francisco Lindor is one of baseball’s brightest stars.
And with being one of baseball’s brightest stars comes devoting your time to young fans by signing autographs.
Prior to last night’s game between Lindor’s New York Mets and the Chicago Cubs, Lindor was out signing autographs for young Cubs fans.
The young fans were enjoying their night already and handing their baseballs over to Lindor to be signed.
But he would only sign on one condition, that being if the kids said “please.”
MLB on FOX tweeted a video of Lindor signing autographs for the children and teaching them basic manners in the process.
Francisco Lindor will only sign autographs if fans say "please" 😆

Say Please!
This is hilarious, but it’s nice to see Lindor using his platform to teach young children manners.
Sometimes, kids need to be put in their places, but this is a nice, good-natured conversation between a star athlete and young fans seeking autographs.
You’ve got to make sure you say please when Lindor is signing baseballs for you.
That’s the best way to get him to do it.
Lindor has always been a guy with a great sense of humor and someone who is always smiling when he’s on the baseball field.
You can tell he enjoyed signing autographs for those fans and it’s clear that the young fans really looked up to him and enjoyed getting a chance to meet one of the best players in all of baseball, even if he had to teach them a little bit about using your manners properly.
Lindor just made those kids’ parents jobs a whole lot easier by teaching them something that normally needs to be taught by them.
Remember to say please, kids!
