The St. Louis Cardinals are a team that is set up for plenty of long-term success.
After a 93-69 finish in 2022, they enter the 2023 season looking to defend their National League Central title and perhaps make a deeper October run.
Their Major League roster looks prepared to win another division title, but their minor league system is quite enviable.
Stars such as Jordan Walker, Masyn Winn, Tink Hence, and Matthew Liberatore highlight their pipeline.
In fact, all four of those prospects were ranked in the top 100 in all of baseball, with Walker coming in at No. 4, Hence coming in at No. 47, Winn ranking at No. 48, and Liberatore at No. 79.
Four Cardinals appear in Baseball America's Top 100 Prospects list:

This is a good position to be in for the Cardinals.
While their fans would like to see a little more offseason activity, they can at least take solace in the fact that the team has a very strong minor league system and a bright future ahead of them.
Walker and Winn both appear ready to make the jump to the Majors, and Liberatore has already experienced the big leagues.
Hence is highly regarded within the organization as well.
Fans may not want to hear it, but with Hence and Liberatore in the system, the Cardinals do already have plenty of starting pitching depth.
The Cardinals have done a fantastic job of building their team from within and lining themselves up for the future, when many of the stars in their system will finally get their chance to shine and contribute to the team.
