The Philadelphia Eagles left a lot to be desired in their season opener vs. the New England Patriots.
They failed to put the game away despite going up 16-0 early in the game.
However, former NFL star Plaxico Burress believes that’s not going to be the case during their Thursday Night Football matchup vs. the Minnesota Vikings.
"The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Vikings by 2 touchdowns."

If anything, he expects them to have an easy time getting past Kirk Cousins and company, predicting they’ll beat them by two touchdowns.
Fellow co-host Willie Colon didn’t necessarily disagree with Burress, but he pointed out the fact that the Eagles can’t just go through the motions and hope to be as good as they were last season.
He stated that some teams coming off Super Bowl appearances stop paying attention to details and little things, and he feels that’s what happened with Jalen Hurts vs. the Patriots, stating that he shouldn’t have made the mistake he made when he suffered that crucial fumble.
The Eagles are undeniably one of the most talented and stacked — if not the most talented and stacked — teams in the league, and they should have no problem beating the Vikings, especially at home.
But it’s not easy to win in the NFL, especially when everybody’s aiming at you, so they need to turn the page and realize that this is a whole new season and they need to be focused and locked in week in and week out.
