Aaron Rodgers has been one of the most discussed players of the 2023 NFL offseason.
While nothing is official at this point, it appears that he will be playing for the New York Jets in 2023.
Many Green Bay Packers fans believed that Rodgers would finish his career with their team, which is not likely to be the case.
After his public announcement on the Pat McAfee Show, declaring that he wanted to play for the Jets, Rodgers seemed to ruffle quite a few feathers, including that of a former teammate.
In a recent interview, James Jones commented on this situation, saying “I’m not surprised, but I’m hurt.”

Jones played for the Packers from 2007-2013 and returned in 2015 after a one-year hiatus.
During his time with the Packers, Jones and Rodgers established a great rapport and won a Super Bowl together.
To see Rodgers want to leave a team where the two of them created so many memories was difficult for Jones.
Plus, Rodgers seems to be following in the footsteps of Brett Favre, who also left the Packers to join the Jets.
Ultimately, this deal hasn’t gotten done yet, and Rodgers is still a member of the Packers.
Will other former Packers players share a similar sentiment to Jones in the coming weeks?
Greg Jennings has been publicly critical of Rodgers and the Packers, a conversation that started long before rumors of Rodgers moving to the Jets.
This decision hasn’t been easy for Rodgers, who has said that he will miss the Packers fanbase dearly.
