New York Giants fans are hoping that their beloved team will turn the corner in the upcoming season.

They haven’t had much to cheer about since 2011 when the team won Super Bowl XLVI.

Since then, the Giants had one playoff game but lost to the Green Bay Packers during the Wild Card round.

They only had two winning seasons over that stretch with the last one coming in 2016.

Therefore, their supporters are having a hard time staying positive regarding their team’s fortunes over the last five seasons.

However, 2022 could be the start of going in a positive direction after the team hired Brian Daboll as head coach and Joe Schoen as general manager.

They will try to reverse the blunders that their predecessors Joe Judge and Dave Gettleman made.

Meanwhile, former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III is optimistic about the team’s performance this season.

Saquon Barkley is one of the MOST EXCITING PLAYERS IN THE WORLD with the football when fully healthy. Back to back injury filled seasons have made people forget but @saquon is on a MISSION to remind everyone. The return of the real Saquad is a BOOST the @Giants offense needs.

Griffin said, “Saquon Barkley is one of the MOST EXCITING PLAYERS IN THE WORLD with the football when fully healthy. Back-to-back injury-filled seasons have made people forget but @saquon is on a MISSION to remind everyone. The return of the real Saquad is a BOOST the @Giants offense needs.”

Barkley does seem ready for the 2022 season based on his physique.

In that case, he will be ready to break tackles and regain his Pro Bowl form.

It Takes The Entire Offense For The Giants To Trend Up

Aside from Barkley, the Giants will need solid performances from wide receivers Kenny Golladay, Sterling Shepard, and Kadarius Toney.

Quarterback Daniel Jones will also have the benefit of an improved offensive line with Andrew Thomas, Jamil Douglas, and Jon Feliciano.

If they can buy time for Jones, he can also make the passing game run efficiently.

That’s the transformation Giants fans have been longing to see.
