The Kansas City Chiefs are heading to the Super Bowl for their third time in the last five seasons.
Before the 2022 NFL season, many analysts were against the Chiefs, considering that they had traded away Tyreek Hill.

Bart Scott was one of the many analysts who was outspoken about the Chiefs.
Last night, Internet trolls had their way with Scott, exposing him for this preseason take.
Although the Chiefs certainly could have used Hill’s services this season, they were able to find success without him.
Patrick Mahomes led all quarterbacks in significant statistical categories this season, including passing yards, passing touchdowns, and passer rating.
He has done so by spreading the ball around to his wide receivers and running backs, but has mainly relied on Travis Kelce.
Kelce has proven to be one of if not the best receiving tight ends in the entire league.
This season, he had the third-most receiving yards of any pass catcher, and second-most touchdowns, and third-most receptions.
Kelce’s value to this team cannot be understated, and he filled-in nicely in the absence of Hill.
Altogether, the Chiefs have proven many of their doubters wrong, and will now compete with the Philadelphia Eagles for the Lombardi trophy.
Many narratives and storylines are apparent heading into the Super Bowl.
Notably, Mahomes is likely a lock for league MVP and could win himself Super Bowl MVP if the Chiefs win as well.
We will soon see how his ankle will hold up after a high-ankle sprain injury slowed him down this past week.
