When you are an NBA player, there ate plenty of things you go through in life that fans do not get to see.
That is why many fans are intrigued when NBA players give them a look into their personal lives.
Well, one former NBA player is doing just that with the release of a new book.
Kendrick Perkins has released his new memoir called “The Education of Kendrick Perkins.”
Congratulations to @KendrickPerkins on the release of his memoir, “The Education of Kendrick Perkins.” It’s truly a terrific read on the life of one of my favorite people. Order a copy here: https://t.co/uCIuEiGP1F pic.twitter.com/y57Ylc8uEM

Most people know of Perkins as one of the NBA analysts on ESPN.
But, he also played 14 seasons in the NBA with four different teams.
Perkins was part of a championship team in 2008 with the Boston Celtics and should have many great stories to tell from those years.
The description of the book states “An intimate memoir about race, fatherhood, and basketball.”
For all NBA fans, this could be worth a read.
Perkins was able to play with many great players during his career, and his stories could be limitless.
But, this book will be about more than just basketball.
There is a whole life off the court that we have not seen of Perkins.
It will be interesting to learn about his life and how that influenced him as a basketball player.
Even though Perkins was never a star player, he played with the likes of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and LeBron James.
He should be able to tell us things about those legends that we have never heard before.
All NBA fans should consider giving this memoir a read.
