Julio Franco had a nice, long MLB career, playing 23 seasons.
Most of his time was spent with the Cleveland Indians, but he also played five seasons for the Texas Rangers, six seasons for the Atlanta Braves, two seasons with the New York Mets, and enjoyed brief one-year stints with the Philadelphia Phillies, Tampa Bay Rays, Chicago White Sox, and Milwaukee Brewers.
Over the course of his career, Franco hit for a .298 average, hit a total of 173 home runs, drove in 1,194 runs, and had a WAR of 43.6.
But at the age of 64, Franco can still hit.
On Twitter, a fan posted a video of the 23-year MLB veteran taking swings at the batting cage and hitting the ball quite well.

Franco may be 64 years old, but he made it clear that he can still hit the ball pretty hard, as evidenced by his “I got it now” from the video.
He still has his signature batting stance too.
Franco retired after the 2007 season at the age of 48.
Needless to say, he was one of the most well-traveled MLB stars of his era.
And the fact that he can still tear the cover off the ball in his advanced age shows just how professional of a hitter he was and how good he could still be if he ever wanted to take another shot at playing.
And he wasn’t even in uniform.
He was raking while wearing a flannel, a scarf, jeans, and dress shoes.
Clearly, he isn’t too old for baseball.
