Recent MLB broadcasts of playoff games have raised a lot of criticism on Twitter and social media in general.
Play by play announcer Bob Costas, in particular, has received a lot of that criticism, for several reasons.

With all due respect. I can’t stand Bob costas

“I’m convinced Bob Costas isn’t really calling this game. It’s just a soundboard of pre-recorded Costas quotes of player names, general descriptions, and random facts. Dude sounds like an announcer on MLB The Show,” @grooveace tweeted, suggesting he is boring.

As it turns out, MLB players are also piling on and voicing their displeasure by listening to the announcer.
“Turning the volume down cus of Bob Costas and just listening to Hammy while watching this game. Can’t take this guy anymore,” former Cleveland Guardians infielder Ernie Clement tweeted.

Clement is, of course, not a part of the Guardians’ ALDS roster against the New York Yankees because the team designated him for assignment in late September.
The Oakland Athletics claimed him off waivers.
Clement Is Not A Fan Of Costas
Clement is voicing his opinion about the game and the broadcast, and watching as a fan pulling for his Guardians.
He apparently prefers not listening to the broadcast, and it’s his right.
Twitter users have also complained that Costas is much more effusive while praising the Yankees, at least in comparison with the Guards.
It’s fair to say he is not the most popular announcer in the MLB playoffs at this point.
Clement played 64 games with Cleveland and six in Oakland.
In 179 plate appearances, Clement hit.184/.243/.209 with a .452 OPS with the Guardians and the A’s.
He is not much a threat at the bases, but is evidently not afraid to say what he thinks on social media.

Bob Costas and Ron Darling (which he is not), are the most depressing announcers to listen to as a team, the are horrible. I turn on the radio if I need to listen to the game. Even the national radio broadcaster are more interesting to listen to.
