It doesn’t look good that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott only has one playoff victory in four games.
They had a golden opportunity last season when they had the home-field advantage during the Wild Card Round after winning the NFC East.
Unfortunately, their offense faltered against the San Francisco 49ers.
Despite the defeat, Prescott has a fan in former Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.
The current CBS Sports analyst has no doubt that the player who replaced him will have another strong campaign in 2022.

“I think Dak Prescott is going to have a fantastic year. I think he’s shown he’s more than capable of playing great football consistently throughout a year,” Romo said.
However, he aired some caution by saying that the weapons around him won’t be as dynamic.
Perhaps Romo is pertaining to the departure of Amari Cooper and Cedrick Wilson to the Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins, respectively.
Other Guys Must Step Up For The Cowboys
While Romo has no problem with Prescott, he somewhat challenged his teammates to elevate their game.
He pointed out Trevon Diggs and Micah Parsons for leading the team on defense.
The Cowboys need the same intensity on offense and they will likely get it from Ezekiel Elliott, Tony Pollard, CeeDee Lamb, and Michael Gallup.
Dalton Schultz should also work to achieve a breakout season if he wants a long-term deal after signing the franchise tag.
As more players step up for the Cowboys, they will be more difficult to beat, especially if Prescott maintains or surpasses his performance.
“I think Dak is going to be Dak. I think he’s going to be good. He’s going to play good football. He’s going to give them a chance to win every week he plays,” Romo said about Prescott.
