In a surprising move over the weekend, the Dallas Cowboys moved on from their offensive coordinator, Kellen Moore.
Although the Cowboys were a top-two offense during the NFL‘s 2022 regular season, the Cowboys decided that it was in their best interest to move on from Moore.
After this departure, it appears that Moore is wasting no time finding a new job.
Former #Cowboys OC Kellen Moore is expected to speak with the #Chargers for their OC opening, per me and @TomPelissero. A newly available coordinator, Moore should figure prominently. Dallas had already given LAC permission to speak with him.

The Los Angeles Chargers are set to interview Moore, just hours after the Cowboys announced they were parting with Moore.
Considering their early playoff exit, the Chargers could use a new spark as a part of their offensive scheme.
The Chargers scored 22.7 points per game this season, which was the 13th-best mark in the league.
In an offense spearheaded by Justin Herbert, Austin Ekeler, Mike Williams, and Keenan Allen, 22.7 points per game certainly underwhelmed expectations.
The Chargers are, of course, in the AFC West, which the Kansas City Chiefs have won for seven-straight seasons.
Hopefully, with a new offensive coordinator, the team will not only be able to make the playoffs but have a run at the division title as well.
Head coach Brandon Staley is one of the league’s more innovative coaches.
Herbert and Staley appear to be a package deal, with neither of them slated to make a move anytime soon.
What can the new-look, 2023 Chargers look like?
We’ll have to wait until the season starts to find out.
Until then, they have quite a few moves to make, and loose ends to tie up, both in their roster and personnel as well.
