The clock is ticking for the Green Bay Packers.
They could have reigning NFL MVP, Aaron Rodgers, back for his 18th season or not.
Several teams would love to have the 38-year-old quarterback, especially those who firmly believe that they are one quarterback away from becoming contenders.
Therefore, everything that Rodgers shares on social media will be subject to excessive analysis and scrutiny.
That said, his lengthy Instagram post sparked curiosity among football fans.
Reading between the lines, his #MondayNightGratitude could be just that: an expression of thanksgiving.
He simply would like to thank special people in his life like Shailene Woodley, his fellow Green Bay quarterbacks, and his inner circle.
There’s nothing wrong with being grateful for all the memories he had with these individuals.
However, the post’s timing is a bit peculiar.
What Does It All Mean?
The final image in the ten-picture slide could be a preview of 2022.
The last picture in Aaron Rodgers’ Instagram post is this one. He is in every photo he posted except this one.
He normally stands between Cobb and Adams for the national anthem…
(This looks like the game he missed in KC)
Could mean something or nothing. Time will tell. pic.twitter.com/JFmpiWLcGT— Adriana Torres (@TorresAdrianaTV) February 22, 2022
ABC Sports’ Green Bay reporter Adriana Torres shared the last picture on Rodgers’ post via her Twitter account.
It showed Randall Cobb and Davante Adams standing for the National Anthem.
However, there’s an empty space in between them and it’s where Rodgers usually stands during that pre-game tradition.
As Torres said, “The last picture in Aaron Rodgers’ Instagram post is this one. He is in every photo he posted except this one. He normally stands between Cobb and Adams for the national anthem. (This looks like the game he missed in KC). Could mean something or nothing. Time will tell.”
The last two sentences in Torres’ brief opinion encapsulate what will happen in the coming weeks.
It could mean that Rodgers will play for another team or he is simply messing with people, knowing that his every move will be under the microscope.
There’s also the possibility of retirement despite being the league’s best player.
Nothing is certain until an official announcement is made.
