Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa has been in the headlines for weeks following his concussion.
His injury, which was four days removed from an earlier apparent head injury, made waves in the NFL.
Both NFL fans and outside neurological experts made their voices heard over what happened.
While fans offered their prayers for the Dolphins QB and his health, others were furious with the team for letting him play.
However, a new story is coming out about Tagovailoa that’s making waves yet again.
Reports Are Coming Out Of Tagovailoa Returning To The Field
As reported by Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport, the Dolphins QB is returning to the practice field today.
From @GMFB: #Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa will return to practice today, per me and @TomPelissero. What it means… 👇👇👇 pic.twitter.com/A9VxgUV8NH

However, he’s not returning to play against the Minnesota Vikings in the Dolphins’ next game.
While the news of his return to practice is good, according to Rapoport, it hasn’t stopped fans from reacting to the news.

Yay for Tua. Dolphins fans can rejoice.

I'm so happy that he's doing fine and will be throwing some football this Wednesday… Blessings to you my braddah Tua…Thank you Jesus for your healing touch. Only you knows when Tua is ready to go back on the field. This is good news to my eyes…

But not all the fan reactions were positive.
Whatre the odds they have a Trent Edwards situation. For those who don’t know he started his first year starting w the Bills on fire 4-1 I believe then got a terrible concussion and was never the same.

With all these rule changes concentrated around concussions and players safety, can we make another rule to not continually show videos like the one of Tua? Once is enough.

With the Dolphins QB not back in football shape, it might be awhile before he makes an NFL return.
However, some believe the young quarterback should retire after suffering two hard hits this season.
shoulda retired smh

While everyone is making their voice heard, the Dolphins QB is continuing his work to return to NFL action.
With the Dolphins 3-2, and one game behind the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East, a return of their QB can help them.
Tagovailoa Is The Dolphins’ Saving Grace In 2022
The Dolphins QB was behind two game-winning drives that helped the team defeat both the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills.
His play against those two teams was the reason behind his 3-0 start to the season.
However, the Dolphins look lost without their starting QB.
With his return becoming a reality, it’s only a question of when his return will be during the season.
While the Dolphins need their star QB back to save their season, they shouldn’t rush him back.
He needs to be at 100% before allowing him to play.
They can’t cut corners with his return, as doing so not only puts him at risk but also the franchise.
The young QB, along with Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Raheem Mostert, have given life to the Dolphins offense.
If one of them falters, the offense struggles.
We are seeing this with the absence of Tagovailoa on the Dolphins’ offense.
Dolphins Need To Put Faith In Skyler Thompson Until Tagovailoa Returns
While Tagovailoa’s backup is Teddy Bridgewater, rookie QB Skyler Thompson is getting the start on Sunday against the Vikings.
Thompson is getting this chance because of an injury to Bridgewater during Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.
With the Dolphins now leaning on their rookie QB, it’s time to put faith in the player who stood out during the Dolphins preseason games.
While his first game as a backup didn’t go well, he’s now practicing with the first-string offense.
If the team puts faith in him, he might improve with his first NFL start after getting a full week of practice with his teammates.
