For years, NFL fans hoped for Tom Brady’s retirement so their teams could finally stand a chance to win.
Now that he’s gone, the fans can’t seem to believe he’s actually done with playing football.
That’s why even though he literally said that he was done playing, fans on Twitter still believe he’ll find a way to come back at some point.
Brady told Robin Lundberg of Sports Illustrated that there was no truth to the rumors of his alleged desire to come back.
Hmmmm…second source?

Didn’t watch the whole clip … when asked by @JeffDarlington not sure what year it was and he said “Zero” not retiring as that year was constantly asked that question of retirement. @TomBrady just a flip of the spectrum script … #LFG enjoy retirement you are doing just fine ✌🏼

He cited that he’s looking forward to his broadcasting career with Fox starting in 2024, and that he also wants to go on with his purchase of a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders.
Brady also said that he’s spending as much time with his kids as he possibly can, adding that it’s a job that he’s taking quite seriously right now.
The rumors about Brady’s second comeback surfaced again upon hearing the news of Jimmy Garoppolo’s injury.
The reports state that the Raiders could void Garoppolo’s contract because of that injury, making Brady an obvious fit for a replacement.
The Raiders were one of the oddsmakers’ favorites to land Brady if he didn’t retire this season, mostly because of all his business endeavors and the fact that he knew Josh McDaniels from their days together with the New England Patriots.
He’s not made it loud and clear that it’s just not happening, so maybe it’s time we finally put that thought to sleep, at least for now.
