The Pittsburgh Steelers improved to 4-7 on the season by defeating Matt Ryan‘s Indianapolis Colts on “Monday Night Football” by the final score of 24-17.
Both teams are hanging to a thread in terms of their hopes of making the playoffs, but the Steelers may have dealt the struggling Colts a fatal blow.
Down by a touchdown late, the Colts had an opportunity, as they got into Pittsburgh territory, but bad clock management did them in.
Athough the Steelers got a much-needed win, by no means are they in good shape moving forward.
Multiple fans on Twitter pointed out how at one point in the game, a Colts defensive player yelled out “it’s all the same plays” regarding the offense Pittsburgh was running.

What a terrible look for Matt Canada and the Steelers’ offense. pic.twitter.com/ohiOKwpvOa

Rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett wasn’t that dazzling for the Steelers, but he did complete 20 of 28 passes and set up their running game.
With starting running back Najee Harris forced to leave due to an abdominal injury (he had 35 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries), Benny Snell Jr. lined up on offense for the first time all year and gave his team 62 yards, including the decisive touchdown.
Members of Steelers Nation were very pleased with his performance.
Shoutout to Benny Snell for coming in and running the football well for the win. #HereWeGo #Steelers pic.twitter.com/S1NdF4Ry44

This man even thinks Snell should move ahead of Harris in the depth chart.
Steelers need to think about making Benny Snell jr the starting running back cause honestly Harris has not impressed me at all this year but it’s also the line and the play calling

On the other side, this Indianapolis fan has apparently given up on the season.
Colts need some changes, just lose out the rest of year. Tough schedule anyways.

This Cincinnati Bengals fan threw some shade at Steelers Nation, as he feels there should be an asterisk next to their victory.
Hey Steelers fans. That win last night didn’t count because you beat a rebuilding Colts team that lost their HC, and have multiple injuries on offense and defense. Just letting y’all know. Welcome to my Ted talk

The Colts’ Season May Be All But Over
Indianapolis has a very tough schedule the rest of the way, as it will face the 8-3 Dallas Cowboys in Texas in Week 13.
After its bye week, it will then play the 9-2 Minnesota Vikings, followed by the potent Los Angeles Chargers and the surprising New York Giants.
