Another trade has gone down in the NFL just a few weeks before draft day.
It was between the Detroit Lions and the Atlanta Falcons and featured a former first-round pick.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Lions agreed to trade cornerback Jeff Okudah to the Falcons for a fifth-round pick.

Okudah has failed to live up to the lofty expectations while playing in Detroit.
Maybe a change of scenery will be what is best for him.
Also, this trade frees up an opening at cornerback for the Lions ahead of the draft.
It seems more likely they might be looking to select one with their sixth overall pick.
Welp we know they taking a CB now😂

From the Falcons’ perspective, they took a shot on a once highly valued prospect.
Giving up a fifth-round pick seems like a small price to pay for a former first-round cornerback.
For a 5th rd pick. 😳

Okudah has played three seasons in the NFL and he has started 22 of 25 games.
But, he has only recorded two interceptions in those games.
Still, many fans think the Falcons got the better side of the deal here.

Atlanta is mostly in rebuilding mode for the 2023 season.
But, they are lucky enough to play in the worst division in football which is the NFC South.
If the Falcons can get any type of quarterback play next season, they might be an actual threat to win the division.
