It feels like it was years ago when Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham were one of the deadliest duos in the National Football League.
Graham even made a case for tight ends getting paid as much money as wide receivers, stating that he was a huge part of the team’s offense as well.
Jimmy Graham was one of the most productive pass-catchers in the league during his prime, but he struggled to find the same level of production once he left the Big Easy.
That’s why, even though it was just a preseason game, the fans were so excited after watching him score a touchdown in a New Orleans Saints uniform again (via BR Gridiron).

Graham bounced around the league and was never as involved in the passing game as he was during his days in New Orleans.
Featured mostly as a blocker, the veteran tight end fell from grace and struggled to get back to the mountaintop of players in his position.
He was poised to have one of the best careers by a tight end in the history of the game, but that obviously was never the case.
Now entering the sunset of his career, Graham will at least have the opportunity to play in front of a fan base that loves and respects him, not to mention the fact that he could actually be involved in their offense again, as Derek Carr has often made the most of his tight ends, so don’t be shocked if there are some more touchdowns going his way when it actually counts.
