Even though he doesn’t get the recognition he deserves, Jamal Murray has been elite for the Denver Nuggets since he made it to the league.
Moreover, the Canadian sharpshooter has earned a reputation for being a playoff riser, someone who takes over and takes his game up a notch when everything is at stake.
That was again on full display during Thursday night’s win over the Los Angeles Lakers, as he went human torch mode late in the game to secure a huge win for his team.

Jamal Murray reminds me of Steph Curry, both if them can effortlessly shoot 3 pointers with Ease! The Nuggets have too much Firepower for the Lakers! See what happens when theyr back in L.A. Down 2-0 the Lakers have to win four games now, Nuggets only need two! Sweep? Well see!

Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray have been arguably the best duo in the playoffs thus far, even ahead of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum or LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
They’ve developed an impressive rapport on the court, and they feed off each other on the offensive end of the floor.
You cannot double Jokic and leave Murray open and vice versa, and that one-two punch is what Mike Malone’s team has lacked more often than not in the playoffs, mostly because of Murray’s injuries.
The Nuggets have played like a team on a mission throughout the whole season, and their determination to make a statement has only been more evident in the playoffs.
They’re now up 2-0 on the Lakers and seem to have them against the ropes, as they’ve dominated both their small and big lineups.
Also, there’s not much you can do when you have two elite scorers peaking at the same time.
