It’s not every day a team gets to make NFL history, but that’s exactly what happened when the Miami Dolphins dominated the Denver Broncos on the road 70-20.
Despite being at home and facing a 0-3 start, the Broncos had zero answers for the Dolphins’ offense as they were able to rip off huge play after huge play throughout the afternoon.
Tua Tagovailoa hit Tyreek Hill for a big touchdown within the opening minutes of the game and from there the offense exploded thanks to the running back duo of De’Von Achane and Raheem Mostert.
It was an embarrassing effort from Denver who looked like they gave up at halftime as Russell Wilson and the rest of the offense had no shot of keeping up.
When the game was over, the Dolphins managed to rack up 726 yards of total offense, a record for most yards gained in a game.
Shortly after, fans took to Twitter to fire off their reactions via SportsCenter.

As some of them noted, the box score looks like something out of Madden as those kinds of numbers just don’t happen at the professional level.
The easy thing to do would be to pile on how bad the Broncos’ defense was, but the Dolphins should receive a ton of credit for how they were able to execute on nearly every play.
Miami now sits at 3-0 and is the only remaining undefeated AFC team left.
It’s still early in the 2023 NFL season, but the Dolphins look like they’re for real and could very well be the favorites to win the title this year.
