The New Orleans Pelicans hated to see Anthony Davis go, but they were more than happy about the return they got.
Brandon Ingram failed to impress with the Los Angeles Lakers, but he broke out as soon as he got away from Southern California, becoming one of the most promising young players in the league.
And even though he’s been around for quite a while now, he’s just turning 26 years old today.
That’s why several fans took to Twitter to wish him all the best on his special day in a post by the NBA.
Happy Birthday Brandon!🎉

Ingram has had some struggles lately.
He hasn’t been able to make a successful transition from the NBA to FIBA basketball, and his confidence seems way off.
His shot isn’t falling, he was sent to the bench, and he’s not even looking at the rim anymore.
Some expected him to be the leader of the group, granted that he was the veteran, but that just hasn’t been the case.
Even so, Ingram has yet to reach his prime, and he’s a proven player in the league, so it’s just a matter of time before he bounces back.
The Pelicans’ hope to make the playoffs will hang on Ingram’s shoulders for as long as Zion Williamson isn’t on the court, and considering his injury woes, that’s going to be quite often.
Hopefully, he’ll be back to his best sooner rather than later, as he’s just too good to lose confidence in his offensive game.
