The Los Angeles Lakers left their fans very happy on Wednesday night, defeating the Portland Trail Blazers at home with a 128-109 victory.
Many people feel that the Lakers played their best basketball of the season against Portland, with multiple players breaking out and doing well and the entire squad working hard, coming together, and not slipping up as they did just a few days before against the Indiana Pacers.
LeBron James dominated with his 31 points, Anthony Davis scored another double-double with 27 points and 12 rebounds, and Thomas Bryant impressed off the bench with 14 points.

But fan favorite Austin Reaves might have had the most impressive night, even if his point total didn’t surpass James’.
Reaves put up 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists on a wild 70% field goal percentage.
In just two seasons, Reaves has become one of the most beloved guys on the squad and has grown into a crucial part of the team’s lineup.
How much better is he going to get?
Hillbilly Kobe Strikes Again
Wednesday was just the latest great night for Reaves.
So far this season, he’s averaging 10.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists.
The guy plays with serious heart and impressive intelligence on the court.
He is very good at reading the floor, finding other players, and being in the right place at the right time.
Following the much-needed win, James commented on Reaves, talking about how smart he is and how his head is always in the game.
When he first joined the Lakers, many people didn’t expect a whole lot from the Oklahoma native but he has impressed and surpassed just about every expectation.
It’s clear that he isn’t even close to slowing down.
